Come celebrate the Gift of Giving with us at the 2021 Hermiston Festival of Trees Celebration, to be held on Saturday, December 4, from 2 – 7 pm, at the Community Center.
We’re thrilled to announce an exciting new look to our event. We will not be offering a dinner auction or Family Day. Instead, guests will be invited to stroll through and purchase items in a stunning, festive Christmas display, highlighting beautifully decorated large trees, small trees, holiday gift baskets, and Christmas stockings, all overflowing with gifts, as well as a display of spectacular holiday wreaths. Guests will also have a chance to win one of our 100 special giveaway gifts during this Day of 100 Gifts, as they enjoy the exciting holiday spirit.
Each Festival item will be tagged with a “Buy it Now” price. Guests will have the opportunity to claim their favorite Christmas items as soon as they fall in love with them. Items can be purchased at the event or at the same time through an online auction that can be easily accessed and navigated with a phone or computer. (Online auction instructions are on the back of this flyer). Purchased items will be tagged as SOLD, so all guests will be able to enjoy the full display. Items will be available for pick up on Sunday, December 5 at noon. The Kiwanis Giving Tree will also provide guests the opportunity to make cash donations to the Hermiston Second Grade Swim Program.
Family Hour tickets are $25 per family and will run from 2:00–3:00 pm. General Admission tickets are $20 per person and will be from 3:00–7:00 pm. We will offer wine tasting from 4:00–7:00 PM, making it a 21 and older event at that point. Tickets will allow for specific one-hour admittance in order to limit the number of people in the Community Center at one time, in our efforts to follow current CDC guidelines. Bidding will begin at 2:00 pm and commence closing at 7:00 pm, please check the individual bid items on Text2Bid for details. The tickets are available at the Hermiston Chamber of Commerce.
We encourage you to gather your family and friends and make this a special holiday outing. Come dressed as elegantly as you’d like, shop and enjoy this beautiful event, then go support one of our local restaurants and enjoy a delicious meal together. Several will be offering discounts to Festival of Trees ticket holders.
We are grateful that our community will be able to again experience the joy of participating in this wonderful Christmas fundraising event and experience the joy of contributing to the many community improvement projects that Festival of Trees makes possible.
